Kromek, a radiation detection technology company focusing on the medical, security and nuclear markets, is delighted to announce that it has won the Innovation Award at the Made in the North East Awards 2015 held on Thursday 01 October.
The Innovation award, sponsored by Teesside University, was awarded to Kromek after judges deemed them to be the outstanding company within this category and their D3 radiation detector product clearly demonstrating the company’s innovation credentials.
Now in their fourth year, the Made in the North East Awards in association with Insider Media, are the premier manufacturing awards in the region. The five awards also included Apprenticeship/Training Scheme of the Year, Export Award, Technology Award and Manufacturing Company of the Year.
